FAQ
Frequently Asked Question lists are inherently works in progress. Here are the questions we’re getting asked most often regarding this site and the book Unlock Your Strength. If you have a question that you don’t see answered here, feel free to ask us.
1. Do I have to exercise to get value from this book?
No. While exercising is a valuable thing to do and will deliver a myriad of benefits to you, it’s not necessary to benefit from the book. Many of the tips we discuss involve mental techniques, nutritional strategies, and other health-related subjects that aren’t solely exercise technique.
2. What if I don’t know a lot about working out?
Well, our book isn’t really a soup-to-nuts instructional how-to. It’s not really meant for you if you’ve never exercised before in your life and are just looking to get started on a diet and exercise program. For that, we’d recommend getting instruction from a qualified instructor. But if you’ve “dabbled in exercise”, you’ll likely find Unlock Your Strength to be more than useful.
3. I know my way around a gym. Is your book strictly for beginners?
Not at all. We cover a lot of ground in this book and there’s plenty for even an experienced trainee to benefit from. And sometimes, hearing a familiar fact or strategy worded in a different way (like our way, for example) can give you new appreciation or a better grasp of it and allow you to apply it more effectively.
